Alchemy Factory Wagon Logistics Guide
Plan rail routes, loading points, junctions, and bulk transport without gridlock.

Plan rail routes, loading points, junctions, and bulk transport without gridlock.
Quick answer
Build the smallest working version first, confirm that inputs stay supplied and outputs keep moving, then scale. Alchemy Factory rewards visible, modular logistics more than clever but fragile spaghetti routing.
Use wagons for bulk movement
Wagons make the most sense when a resource must travel farther than a clean belt route or when you want a dedicated bulk supply between production areas.
Separate loading and unloading
Give stations enough approach space so one wagon does not block another. Keep junctions away from the busiest loading points.
Route by purpose
Dedicated routes are easier to debug than a single shared rail network carrying every resource. Expand only after the first route is stable.
Troubleshooting order
If delivery stops: confirm the wagon has a valid route, check track continuity, inspect the load/unload point, then look for downstream storage being full.
What the v1.1 track update changed
The October 16, 2026 update (v1.1.5023) expanded the track system:
- New Merge Track and Track Sorter variants — more ways to join and redirect lines.
- Delete and Clone modes can select all connected tracks at once, so rebuilding a route no longer means handling every piece.
- The game now includes instructions on how to ride tracks, and Clockwork Birds gained a Shift Sprint.
- Merge Track collision was optimized, and a Wagon Transfer Station variant that had its track direction wrong was fixed — re-check stations near a junction if a route behaved oddly before v1.1.
If a newly added variant will not select, the same-day hotfix v1.1.5024 addresses exactly that — update first.
Troubleshooting checklist
- Confirm the current patch and unlock state.
- Inspect the upstream input before rebuilding the output side.
- Check for full storage, blocked belts, or an empty support resource.
- Test one module in isolation.
- Scale only after the isolated module stays stable.
